General Regulations For Students


  • Punctuality and regularity in attendance, proper dress, an earnest effort in class and home work assignments and proper behaviour in and outside school are always insisted on. Hence, hands in pockets, slouching gait, untidiness, unclean uniforms etc. are considered unacceptable.
  • English is the medium of instruction. Hence, students are expected to speak English at all times.
  • Students are not permitted to engage any of the school teachers for private tuition without the written permission of the Principal.
  • A student absent from class due to illness or owing to unforeseen circumstances must bring a letter from his/her parents/guardian explaining the reason for the absence and the same must be recorded in the school diary. Prior permission must be obtained for leave for any other reason. The Principal can refuse leave of absence to any student without assigning any reason.
  • Students absent from any examination will be considered as having failed, unless it is established that their absence was due to illness.
  • The school is not responsible for goods lost. Therefore, it is not advisable to bring valuable articles such as expensive watches, pens, gold ornaments, excess amount of money etc. to school.

Rules and Regulations

Pink Card

To be issued to the student defaulter
for the following.


  • Repeated careless and irregular work.
  • Irregular attendance.
  • coming to school in an inappropriate uniform.
  • Coming late to school.
  • Disrupting classroom teaching.
  • Loitering out of the class without purpose.
  • Missing classes, Assembly, S.U.P.W., Library, P.T. etc. periods.
  • Not bringing the school diary.

Yellow Card

To be issued to the student defaulter concerned in the presence of the Coordinators and the parents for the following:

  • Being disobedient.
  • Using abusive language.
  • Rude or insolent behaviour with teacher.
  • Bullying fellow students and juniors and causing physical injuries and hurts.
  • Using unfair means during any examination.
  • Damaging school property (a fine will also be imposed).

Red Card

To be issued to the student defaulter in the presence of the Principal and parents for the following:

  • Misbehaving with a teacher.
  • Negative influence.
  • 3 Pink cards will be equivalent to one yellow card.
  • 2 Yellow cards will be equivalent to one red card.
  • Yellow card will mean suspension from the school for a week.
  • Red card will mean suspension from the school for two weeks and expulsion from the school at the end of the academic year.
